To commemorate the 55th Anniversary of Seiko 5 Sports watches, Seiko are introducing a limited-edition collaboration of two watch designs. Charles Schulz started the world-famous newspaper comic strip ‘Peanuts’ in 1950, featuring the popular characters of Snoopy and Charlie Brown. These limited-edition watches feature original Peanuts illustrations on the dial and case back, chosen specifically from the year Seiko 5 Sports was launched, with either a surfboard or parachute theme. Also, the numbers on the bezel are written in the ‘Schulz’ font. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
